Five words that manifest big dividends
Here it is. One of my favorite lesson from Abraham-Hicks. I'm just bursting to share how incredibly powerful 5 little words can be.
Wouldn't it be nice if.....
Hmmm...why can't I lose those last 10 pounds? This is my thought last summer. I've tried everything short of elective surgery and well..I'm not going there.
That hmmm thought in itself a little prayer, because while I was reading Ask and it is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks, I came across this spiritual exercise. It was the answer to my soft little prayer.
The Universe can be a bit black and white.
For example when I say " I really want to lose that 10 pounds but it hasn't happened yet," I am actually sending out a mixed message. My desire to lose weight is out there, but so is the absence of my desire. So nothing changes- I'm stuck with those ten pounds. Even if just say "hey, I want to lose 10 pounds" the unspoken vibration of the second part continues to keep me stuck. Ughh!! Please! I just want my jeans to fit better.
Abraham-Hicks advise using "Wouldn't it be nice if this desire would come to me?" By using this phrase we set a different sort of expectation that is less resistant and open. This question elicits a more positive and expectant response, raising our vibration and improves our attraction, making us a stronger magnet for the things we want in our life.
Sounds to simple and good to be true?
That's the beauty of it.
Last summer I changed my thought. Yep..just one thought. I thought it everyday throughout the day. When I drove, in the tub, doing dishes, walking my dog....
Wouldn't it be nice if my body was at its ideal weight?
Guess what?
Yep...unbelievable. I've drop those pounds and a few more over the course of four months. The best part? I didn't change my eating habits or my exercise routine. Plus I need new jeans..my old ones are now too big.
So Simple. I love this so much that I've started a new one.
The Abhrams-Hicks state that by softy playing this game, we hold ourselves in a place of alignment allowing the Universe to work on our behalf. We also need to be patient and not expect instant results (4 months for the weight to shift). We need to trust that it is coming to us in the perfect time.
So how are you going to complete this sentence?
Wouldn't it be nice if....
